Embarrassed Big Time

Ok, so I had heard that my professor was going out of town for a couple of days and I was thinking about his wife who would probably have 3 kids by herself and that perhaps she may need someone to run errands for her. Well, as I was thinking about her, my caller id showed a call from her, so I answered with "I was thinking about you," and lo and behold, the call was not from her, but my professor. AHHHHHH! How embarrassing! Apparently, he was not out of town. That just goes to show you that you can't always trust what you hear and NEVER assume you know who is on the other end of the phone just because you have caller id.

The Horse Whisperers

These two men, here, have tamed this wild stallion to the point that it seems like a stuffed animal. Amazing! I am so proud of my pumpkin and his cousin for their hard work. You can see that they are just dazed at the long hours of getting this animal tamed.

It has been a LONG time since my last post. Soooo sorry! I have been pretty down about the hurricane victims. It hurts to think about it and yet, I don't want to forget and take for granted all that I have. We have been frustrated because our air has broken, but many have lost their homes, their things, pictures of family, clothes. Everything that I do, all of those who God has entrusted to my care (see above - pumpkin), all of it is a tremendous gift of the Lord. Can I with Job say, "The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised?" It is more than I can fathom. I don't want to forget these people. Has anyone seen the best way to help at this point?

Back to a lighter note, if anyone needs to tame any wild honeymoon stallions or the like, please comment and I may be able to get the guys to help you.
