What Would You Do?
A male friend of mine was in a situation in which he went to another male friend to ask for medical advice as his friend was in the medical field. The advice called for an examination of the male private area. My friend felt that his medical friend performed the examination in an inapropriate way and also made what seemed to be inapropriate comments along with the examination. Now my friend has made it clear that it was not well received and has severed ties with this medical professional. However, this medical professional also held a paid position in a church. And this church is now under fire as there are claims of molestation being reported (by a teenage male to at least two male children). My friend actually reported the incident to two leaders in the church and as far as we can tell, nothing happened. Having prayed about it, do you believe there are obvious actions that one should take in these circumstances? What would you do?

My first question is what church has someone who is in the medical field? Is it bi-vocational? The next question would be: are you a member of this church?
Without those questions answered I would report to the secular supervisor the complaint. I would assume he has a supervisor. They should take care of it for legal reasons.
These are very serious allegations and must be treated with all seriousness. In the church this is not a matter to take to the whole church, yet. Nor is it something to be left to a few men to decide.
If he is fired from his secular job, the rest should work itself out. If it does not the church has more issues than this minister.
actually, he is not the minister but simply a paid worker and no, I am not a member.
